HOW-TO: UNDERSTAND & FIND YOUR FTP
FTP, or Functional Threshold Power, is one of the key training terms used in cycling. In short, its the max average amount of power you can sustain for an hour. Sounds intimidating? Its no ride in the park, but Zwift has workouts to help you determine yours.
Zwift determines your speed by your power, a number measured in watts. Your power-to-weight ratio is displayed as w/kg. This article covers the basics of this key fitness metric and helps you find events at your level.
The Rapha Benelux team hooked up with track champ Tim Veldt, to design a multi-week structured workout program starting January 9th. You can look forward to one group workout and one regular workout per week. Thats a healthy dose of new year cheer.
